Wye Cylinder Engineering are a 3rd generation manufacturing company based in Hereford. We have ambitious plans to expand and are looking for a key leader to join our senior team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Possess strong leadership skills to inspire our production team to achieve operational excellence.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and promote continuous improvement.
- Lead production processes with a focus on quality and efficiency to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive overall shop floor performance.
- Champion cultural changes and promote innovation and teamwork through effective communication.
CORE SKILLS NEEDED:
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and process improvement.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing and the implementation of ISO Standards.
- Ability to manage people effectively to drive results and maximise productivity.
- Possess a problem solving mindset to anticipate problems and implement preventative strategies.
- Be an effective communicator and demonstrate a pro-active approach throughout all levels of the business.
